Build your own IR blaster & learning remote
We'll be using any of Raspberry pi, Arduino or ESP8266 to drive some infra-red LEDs and infra-red detectors to build a infra-red transmitter and receiver.
This will allow you to learn remote control commands and reuse them, and to control your own infra-red devices.
What to bring?
If you want to build your own remote alongside us, which will be much more fun, then here's a list of parts you might want to collect together.
- Laptop
- One or some of Raspberry pi, Arduino or ESP8266(in a form factor that's easy to connect LEDs)
- IR LEDs
- IR receivers
- Resistors for the above components as required
